Jagan Gudur is a strategic leader who is passionate about using technology to further mission, achieve organizational goals, and, above all, make lives better, using his strong service focus and business acumen to pursue this passion. A technology and operations executive, he has over twenty-five years of experience in technology, customer experience, and operations, spanning multiple sectors – education,  consulting, telecommunications, and hi-tech. 

As Chief Information Officer (CIO) of Regis University, Jagan fervently champions the creation of opportunities for learners that enable them to be better prepared as they step into the world. He has played instrumental roles at Regis University in the creation of its strategic plan, using technology to innovate and provide a better student experience, repositioning of the entrepreneurial Higher Learning  Partners group, and driving enterprise risk management. 

Jagan has led and played pivotal parts in many large-scale initiatives in both for-profit and non-profit organizations, including the launch of new businesses and products, strategic roadmaps, process reengineering, and business transformation aimed at enhancing customer/learner experience, growing revenue, and advancing mission. In his role as CIO, Jagan provides direction and leadership to Higher  Learning Partners and Information Technology Services. Along with his colleagues, he has been transforming these groups to be strategic partners, focusing on solutions and service, collaborative relationships, and technology as a vital enabler, while optimizing cost structure. 

Prior to joining Regis, Jagan served in information technology and leadership roles at West Virginia  University, Verizon Communications, and IBM Corp. He was also President and Executive Advisor at  ENTELEQY, Inc., a management consulting firm that he founded to provide business and technology assessment and planning services. He has been recognized with several awards for leadership and industry-leading innovation. 

Jagan holds a master’s degree in electrical engineering from Texas A&M University at College Station, a graduate certificate in leadership and management from Carnegie Mellon University, and a United  States federal government certificate in executive core competencies.

In short and simple words, I work with people to solve problems and achieve goals using technology, intelligence – yours, mine, and others', and other necessary means. I have done this many times before,  and the good news is that I have the heart and mind to do it again!
